I have a passion for restorative and aesthetic dentistry and have a keen eye for detail to ensure my patients are treated to the highest standards as well as attending additional courses to enhance my skills. I will continue to develop my clinical skills throughout my career in order to learn new techniques and become familiar with the latest technological developments within dentistry. I am confident in managing high-needs patients with empathy and care, while also providing high-quality aesthetic treatments that meet both clinical standards and patient expectations.

These included team building, communication, photography, endodontics, composite and amalgam restorations, oral surgery, prosthodontics and paediatric dentistry Through these courses I was able to improve on my knowledge and skills from university and implement them in my everyday practice. Anterior ceramic crowns and smile design by Mr Stefano Del Monte

From this course, I learned the whole workflow involving designing crowns for an aesthetic case. I learned how to work alongside the lab to create digital smile wax-ups, how to manage patient expectations and prepare teeth quickly and effectively for anterior crowns and veneers.play your timeline of professional development

Institute of Digital Dentistry - online CPD courses

I have been carrying out the online CPD webinars to familiarise myself with the workflow and processes of digital dentistry. Through this I have begun to learn important skills associated with intraoral scanning and tooth preparation principles to equip myself with this knowledge before I begin to implement digital workflows in my clinical practice.

Crowns and onlays by Professor Brian Millar

This course solidified my knowledge and allowed me to practice various cuspal coverage treatments including overlays, onlays and vonlays. I was able to learn about the different preparation techniques and margins required for each indirect material.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Dental foundation trainee - Maxident Clinic - (South East London scheme) September 2024-August 2025

During my training I gained experience dealing with a very high needs area gaining valuable experience in carrying out treatment in all aspects of general dentistry dealing with a challenging and demanding population that has complex needs. Throughout this year I have gained skills in delivering NHS dental management in an efficient and cost effective manner but still maintaining a high quality care.. I have learnt how to manage difficult patients and their expectations, improve communication with both patients and the dental team as well as building strong rapport with all.

Swimming teacher - 1Life Downham Leisure Centre, Turner Swim, St Dunstan’s Enterprises, Virgin Active - September 2017-June 2024:

Coming from a background of competitive swimming, I gained the necessary teaching qualifications and began to teach both classes and individual private lessons. I have taught learners of all backgrounds, ages and abilities throughout my time teaching across these centres, which has allowed me to become clear, confident and effective in my communication skills by tailoring my instructions to suit the understanding of both adults and children.
