I’m an experienced and compassionate dentist with advanced training in restorative dentistry and oral surgery, developed across both primary and secondary care settings. I’m also deeply passionate about education and currently teach dental students in clinical, simulated, and academic environments, including oral medicine, maxillofacial surgery, and restorative dentistry.
My key priorities are:
• Delivering patient-centred, evidence-based, high-quality care
• Advanced skills in restorative dentistry and oral surgery
• Supporting colleagues and working collaboratively as part of a team
I’ve worked in fully NHS and private practices, as well as multiple dental hospitals. My clinical strengths lie in treating complex restorative and surgical cases—including oncology patients and full mouth rehabs—and I have a particular interest in managing anxious patients. Many are referred to me for complex oral surgery under LA, IV sedation, or GA. I’m also qualified to provide conscious IV sedation, which has improved treatment acceptance significantly.
One of my greatest strengths is earning the trust of anxious patients, often converting them into long-term loyal patients for the practice.
I have teaching experience in Cardiff and Bristol Dental Schools, where I’ve supervised students across various specialties. At Bristol, I was President of the Dental Society, involved in auditing and improving the curriculum, helping design the new Bristol Dental School (opened 2023), and sat on the interview panel for the new Head of School.
I combine strong clinical skills with a passion for mentoring and delivering excellent patient care, and I thrive in environments that prioritise growth, teamwork, and trust.
