My names is James Thomas and I joined the King' College London graduate entry to dentistry course straight after graduating in Biochemistry from the University of Bath.
I realised I wanted to pursue dentistry whilst on my degree's placement year spent as a research scientist at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). My academic background has instilled a keen interest in evidence-based healthcare; I thrive when interacting with patients and this is my motivation for pursuing dentistry.
I'm motivated to pursue this career so I can have a positive impact on the lives of my patients. I have always been a caring person, so my personal beliefs are very aligned with those working in healthcare.
